New homes at Upton Dene, Chester coming 2021

Propsa Homes (Weaver Vale Housing Trust) and Morris Homes will deliver 22 affordable new homes by 2024 as part of a new development at Upton Dene in Chester. Selected by developer Morris Homes to deliver 22 new homes comprising a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership. This development with Morris Homes is now the fourth development in Cheshire between the two organisations. To date developments between the Trust and Morris Homes have provided more than 30 affordable homes in Cheshire. Work is underway on site at Upton Dene with the first homes due to be completed in April 2021 as part of the wider Morris Homes development of the 9.6 acre former NHS site, which in total will deliver 74 homes with 52 for private sale. The 22 homes consist of a mixture of flats and family homes for affordable rent and eleven three-bedroom homes for shared ownership sale.
